What is the "development"? ~from South-East Asia~
By living in Yangon and Ho Chi Minh for 3 years and visiting Malaysia, Thailand, Brunei, Cambodia, Singapore, UAE, Spain, Italy, France, Switzerland, Germany, Poland and Estonia, I realise each countries hold their own complex issues and global actually means that compounds of 200~300 of these issues. The Global is impossible to identify as one word.
By contrast, I saw that on the whole of development in Asian region seems to follow every part of past development of current advanced countries. Asian region is also word which is difficult to identify as one word because of diverse cultures and histories. Nevertheless, in terms of industrialization and globalisation, they would go through almost the same process and face same problem seems as if development is the only way as if there is only one way to develop country.
I expect that there is a "limit" in development.
Nowadays, humanity goes to good way and expand their ability. But "expansion" does not dramatically change the way human beings live. For example, if AI rises, human live with robots, and it is natural to live in space station, do our lifestyles will really change greatly as we could not expect? Getting up, taking breakfast, talking with someone, sharing our passion, crying and laughing, making family, leaving offsprings, they all would be not so changed. Perhaps everyone becomes cyborged and the genitals become artificial, but that doesn't change the ordinal lives.
The trains, vehicles, plains have changed lives of human, However, just changing the speed of movement does not change the "movement" which is human activity itself. Internet also brought alternation for human lives as to remain in history, on the other words, it is just "letters to be sent and received very swiftly"
Our lives have become convenient through expansion. But extensions are just extensions which does not create new notions.
But it may be “art” that changes that limit.
Many of the rocket developers representing von Braun have read the "De la Terre à la Lune" and "Autour de la Lune" which is sci-fi novels written by Jules Verne, a French novelist and apprized to be Rocket creator.
In that time, approaching to space by Rocket was empty dream or kinds of fantasy which only present in Sci-Fi. Although, efforts of scientist who believe it made it happened in only 100 years.
Humans try to realise such empty dreams and fantasies. There are many things like rockets that are no longer a dream story. It may be said that they are the parents of science, who give the scientists the opportunity to shape the imagination of the future by drawing in pictures or writing in novels.
What kind of future will the geniuses, I don't know yet, draw when humans live in space colonies?
Unless human imagination runs out, science develops and humans continue to expand. Or it may be an evolution that is not just an expansion.
