Thai Burma railway -Death railway from outside and inside-

I have been to Thai-Burma railway during vacation to Thailand, the railway known as "death railway".

This construction was built by Japanese army to establish new supply line in WW2. During construction, number of English, Australian, Dutch's POW, local people, and even Japanese army are died because of diseases and starvation. This bridge became famous because of movie, "the bridge on the river Kwai". The movies are little bit dramatized from reality, nevertheless it shows misery of war. 

In Japan, "the River Kwai March" is very famous music. It is usually used as March music in ceremony. Nevertheless, most of them do not know its origin.

When I go back to Myanmar, I share my experience to my friends. This time, European friends knew the bridge because of movie. However, Burmese friend doesn't know about it, even if Myanmar, ex Burma is also a victim of this bridge. By contrast, people in Thailand remember about the bridge

The view, acknowledgement, perspectives, they all are differed by the regions. I have to be many of them and see myself.
